Keep the Campfires Burning

As we approach the end of 2025, Camp Victory has two specific praises and two prayer requests:

Praises:

1. Six years ago, the CV board made debt reduction the highest strategic goal. In 2018 the camp’s debt reached $2.8 million. Through the generosity of many donors, we paid off all our debt in December of 2024.
2. This summer we registered over 1,000 kids and inspired over 60 summer staff in their walk with Jesus Christ. We will have served and encouraged 4,166 retreat guests and served 29,000 meals in 2025.

Prayer Requests:

1. As of November 2025, the camp needs to raise $40,000 more to reach its 2025 operating income goal. We do not charge the total cost of a summer camp session to allow as many families as possible to take advantage of the Power of Camp.
2. Our biggest struggle is finding cooks, bus drivers and specialized program support staff. Please be in prayer for those specific summer camp needs. Please take time at the end of this year to both pray for Camp Victory and consider making a financial contribution and help keep the campfires burning. Every donation helps us make this ministry financially healthy and strong.

Memorial Giving:

  • Camp Victory accepts gifts in memory of a loved one or friend. Gifts are acknowledged when the receipt family is identified. Memorial gifts help keep the campfires going either through donating for a camper scholarship or to the greatest need. To make a gift, simply click the link below and complete the donation form.

Camper Scholarships:

• Many families cannot afford the cost of summer camp. With help from people like you, camp raises scholarship support for these campers. Gifts to the camper scholarship campaign and three special events each year raise approximately $70,000 providing 200 campers some form of financial assistance.   If you would like to send a child to camp, or become an event sponsor, simply click the link below to make a donation to the camper scholarship campaign or complete the sponsorship form.   Thank you for making a difference in the life of a camper.

Capital Needs:

• Camp Victory’s physical plant is beautiful. God has certainly blessed the camp through the incredible support of so many people.  Taking care of the camp takes planning, coordination, and constant maintenance.  Each year specific projects are identified that needs to be updated and replaced so the camp operates smoothly.
  • In 2024 there are four projects for consideration.  If you would like to donate toward either of these needs, please click the link below or contact David Nelson to get more information.
    • Completion of the program closet (winterization and shelving project) – $5,000
    • Replace 20-year-old kitchen tile flooring that lived through the 2010 flood in the directors’ house – $10,000
    • Awning cover on the backside of the recreation hall for the pedal carts to keep them safe and protected – $3,000
    • Remodel the health center and craft hall – $20,000
