We could probably fill a whole book with testimonials, quotes, and reflections from our campers and alumni. Hearing stories like these remind us why we do camp ministry in the first place. Camp ministry impacts kids in so many positive ways — helping them grow in their character, expand their comfort zone, and take their faith seriously. Campers want to come back to camp summer after summer because this is the place where their life was changed.
It’s easy for us to tell you why Camp Victory is the right place for you or your camper — we bring the best in faith, friends, and fun. But you don’t just have to take our word for it. One of the best parts of Camp Victory is the legacy of staff, campers, and parents who have been choosing camp for decades. Take it from them:
“When I was younger, I came for all the games and the athletics…lately, I’ve gotten so much closer and I feel such a pull from God…I just love Camp Victory. It’s the most amazing place to be and I think it’s a great place to get closer with God!” (Payson, Week 6 camper)
It’s been SO cool to watch Payson grow through her summers here at camp. And she’s not alone.
“Camp victory is such an amazing place for your kids. All the counselors and older staff make EVERY kid feel good about themselves and always include them. They are genuinely some of the nicest counselors I’ve ever met. You also still get to learn about God at chapel which is spectacular. Learning about God and still having fun at camp is such a great experience.” (Google Review)
This is what Camp Victory is all about — faith, community, and a place where kids walk away changed.
