About the Program
Camp Victory is recruiting people who believe in the Power of Camp and want to support, encourage, and pray for our summer staff.
Camp Victory hires over 80 summer staff each year to supervise, encourage and have fun with the campers. Their primary role is to share the love of Jesus Christ. This can be a very challenging and difficult job. Counselors work long hours, care for between 8 to 12 kids each day. They really need our encouragement, prayer, and support. Some staff work all summer, some staff work for 2-3 weeks. Please consider adopting a counselor this summer.
When you register to adopt-a-counselor, you will receive an email with the name of your counselor, their contact information and suggestions. You might send them an encouragement card, purchase them a treat or surprise them with $5 in their camp store account. You might share a meal with them at camp or visit them during their time off at camp and ask them how they are doing. The most important thing you can do is let them know you’re praying for them daily. Your encouragement and support will help them prosper and be a better counselor.
