Work at Camp Victory
Working at Camp Victory is a life-changing ministry opportunity. The experience you gain in any area of camp is invaluable. The children, teens and adults you meet are encouraging and quickly become life-long friends. Whether you’re looking for a year-round position or a seasonal summer staff position, your life will be transformed through the work and experiences you’ll encounter here at Camp Victory.
What To Expect
Summer camp ministry positions are challenging, all-encompassing, fun and extremely rewarding. You will make new life-long friends and make giant leaps in personal growth and in your walk with Jesus Christ. A summer camp job will encourage you to give of yourself to others. Camp is all about inspiring young people to trust and treasure Jesus Christ daily.
Applicants may apply starting at 16 years old. No experience is necessary. Our staff training program will help polish your skills and prepare you for the summer. Camp Victory will provide training and/or certification for those interested in becoming a lifeguard, any instructor position (high ropes, shooting sports, etc.) or a bus driver (21 years or older). If you are applying for a counselor position, you must be at least 18 years of age, 17 years old and a high school graduate, or at least 17 years old and have completed Camp Victory’s LIT program.
We need you to be at camp for our staff training week.
Yes! You get paid weekly, each week of summer camp, plus room and board!! AKA FREE FOOD!
At Camp Victory, in order to receive compensation (that’s the $180/week), you must be at camp for a minimum of 5 weeks. There are only 5 weeks of camp, so if you were unable to make it for a week, we can accommodate that. Most counselors choose to come for the whole summer. If you cannot make it this summer, we are always looking for volunteers!! You are more than welcome to join us for a week and hang out with our campers as a counselor! If you are interested in this option, email [email protected] for more information.
Yep! It’s actually quite good and it’s homemade. Plus, we have a beautiful new dining hall to enjoy it in.
Campers arrive late afternoon on Sunday and are picked up on Friday, so you have Saturdays off. You get time to take a break during the week, even with campers around. This is a great time to rest, take a nap, spend time in the Word, do some laundry – whatever you would like to do!
Yes, indeed you can! If you are traveling from somewhere farther, we can also pick you up from the airport.
Help Support Camp Victory
In 1943, ten couples began a new adventure to serve children and their families: Camp Victory! Over the course of these 75 years more than 50,000 campers have attended Camp Victory. Parents, families, churches and foundations have found our efforts worthy of their support. Without their help we would not be able to influence the lives of children and their families. For many, support of Camp Victory has become a life-long passion.
Use your skills, talents and passions to do something good! Everyone has skills, talents and passions. Use yours to make a difference in the world!
